Born with an innate love for sketches and drawings, Shashank Sharma's artistic journey started in
the humble streets of Udaipur. As a child, his sketches stood out among the rest, revealing a natural
talent and a burning passion for art. However, the conventional path of life took him on a detour.
After completing his Bachelor's degree, Shashank made a bold decision to pursue an MBA in
finance and international business. While the world expected him to dive into the corporate realm,
fulfilling societal expectations, his mind constantly wandered back to his first love - art.
The Parisian Epiphany and Russian Sovereignty :
In an unexpected twist, fate led Shashank to the charming city of Paris, where he pursued his
Master's degree in international business. Immersed in the cultural tapestry of the French capital,
Shashank's dormant passion for art found an outlet once more. Paris, with its historical art
galleries, avant-garde exhibitions, and bohemian atmosphere, rekindled his artistic flame.
Leaving the world of finance behind, Shashank instinctually knew that his heart yearned for
something more meaningful. He absorbed the vibrant colors, breath-taking art pieces, and rich
cultural heritage that surrounded him in Paris, unlocking a realm of creativity brimming within him.
He then also went to st.petersburg for an AIESEC internship to generate awareness in russian
school going students regarding art and their techniques.
The Return to India and Artistic Rebirth:
Coming back to India after his overseas adventure, Shashank made a brave decision to pursue his
true calling – art. Armed with newfound inspiration and a fresh perspective, he embarked on a
journey to explore contemporary, abstract, and portrait art forms. Each stroke on his canvas
became a form of self-expression, a conduit to showcase his perspective on life, love, and the
world at large.
Shashank's art seamlessly blends his diverse experiences, cultural influences, and emotions,
resulting in captivating pieces that resonate with viewers on a profound level. His artworks reflect
the beauty found in simplicity, the complexity of emotions, and the ability to capture fleeting
moments in time
